| When I attended the Web Analytics conference in Reston, VA in 2006 Eric Peterson was a featured speaker and his book was for sale in the lobby. Almost better than his book was watching the cult-like fascination many in the audience had for his wit and wisdom. (A whole group seemed to be following him around the whole event, clinging to his every word.) This is a terrific read, with loads of tips about how to configure and format metrics systems and choose what to measure. I put the search measurement tips to work right away.
