What is prclinic?
PR Clinic is my blog. Its where I share musings about all things in the worlds of communications, technology and Web site management.
I’ve also integrated some of my Web 2.0 tools here, including my Delicious bookmarks, my twitter feed and my Flickr photos. (Lets face it – these plugins do make blogging fun, yes?)
I expect I’ll use future posts to share ideas about digital communications as well as rants and raves in the usability, customer service and communications space.
I look forward to your feedback on my posts!

Hi. My name Kathy McShea and I consider myself a communicator by heart and an Web management expert by trade. I believe leaders in every organization deserve to have Web sites governed by strong standards, documentation and measures.
My professional background mirrors my spirit as a change agent — as a federal Web manager, a business owner, certified usability analyst, political appointee, congressional staffer and journalist and campaign aide. Wherever I’ve hung my hat it’s been about actionable results.
In my work-life I specialize in creating road-maps to the rules, roles and relationships necessary to boost the impact of both your Web site and your internal communication operations. My signatures have included Web management audits, UX, information architecture, evaluations and training. Plus, I like to think I have a jolt of creativity: I geek-out on Web production, graphic design and marketing.
So expect to see a lot of writing on all these topics…which I hope provokes and inspires you to make some changes in your own practices in the wide world of public relations!
